The United Presbyterian Church of Whitinsville participates in the Northbridge Association of Churches. The association is ecumenical and includes many of the churches in our area. We feel that by combining resources, both human and financial, we can better serve the needs of our community.
Some examples of services offered are the food baskets provided for those in need for both Thanksgiving and Easter; the Peace of Bread Community Meal served at the Presbyterian Church on Wednesday evenings and hosted by different churches as well as businesses and organizations in Northbridge; and the Blackstone Valley Emergency Shelter, through which the United Presbyterian Church, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Pleasant Street Christian Reformed Church, and Fairlawn Christian Reformed Church provide emergency shelter for our homeless population on cold winter nights.
There are many other ways in which the NAC seeks to minister to our community. This page is dedicated to keeping folks informed about services that are currently available.
