What Are Our College Kids Up To?

Robie’s been crawling around the woods in camouflage gear, coastal carolinaavoiding huge snakes, jumping into pools and off diving boards while blindfolded, swimming miles while holding his gun out of the water & all kinds of crazy Army training exercises along those lines.

As you can tell from his Sig Ep Award he is very involved with his fraternity. Robie loves it & takes it very seriously.



Danielle Redden – Cairn University

Danielle has recently been accepted to the Ugandan Christian University to study abroad in January 2016!

daniellejudges, and students for a poetry reading held in the Masland lobby. There were 13 entries in total, and the poems were all well-received by the audience. The judges retired to a separate location to make their decision while the audience enjoyed refreshment prepared by the Library staff.  When the judges returned, they announced Danielle Redden as the Masland Library Student Poet Laureate of 2014-15.”

 

Lindsey Reichert – Grove City College

Lindsey’s soccer team made it to the PAC finals on penalty kicks! Lindsey got one of them.

Lindsey is a sophomore attending Grove City College in Grove City, PA. She is majoring in Communications along with playing soccer and lacrosse for the Grove City Wolverines.

The June medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic was amazing and fortified her passion for nursing and helping others in general.She saw hundreds of people in just one week which was amazing. Yet, hundreds were still turned away due to not enough medical team members or not enough medicines. God works through all things and these trips have a special place in her heart. She wants to continue with her nursing degree so she can truly make a difference in His world.

Emily White – New England Law – Boston

new england law bostonOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAEmily is attending New England Law – Boston. Dhe is the lay-out editor of the school newspaper; Due Process.  Emily spends most of her time studying in the library and is working hard to “survive finals”.

 

Zadok Emerick – University of Rhode Island

uriZadok has switched his major to sociology this semester and  is really enjoying it.  He has been traveling between home and school while his dad has been hospitalized. Make sure you keep him in your prayers.

 

 

Courtney Ritchings – Post University

post universityCourtney is attending Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut. Her major is Equine Business

horseManagement with a concentration is Equine Massage. She is a also part of the Equine Club on campus that does a lot of community service activities, working close with a local animal shelter.

 

 

Samantha Sottile – Keene State College

Keene_State_College_LogoSam is very happy at Keene State College in Keene, NH. She is studying sports medicine with a concentration in cardiac rehabilitation. She plays intramural soccer and as one can expect enjoys the social aspect of college during her junior year.soccer ball

 

 

 

 

Michaela Joyce – Worcester State College

worcester stateMichaela is a sophomore and is in a masters program studying occupational therapy . She has worked at Clarks dog kennel for three years and she works on campus in the alumni office at night. She is one of the few people looking forward to snow and can’t wait for winter break so she can ski.

mass artLiz is attending the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and is currently a sophomore in fashion design. For the past few months she’s been taking six classes-Fashion Illustration, Pattern Drafting I, Digital Tools for Textile Design, Ancient Civilizations: Prehistory to Rome, Literary Traditions, and Art in Ancient Iraq. Right now, she is working on final projects for the Review Boards on December 16.
